You can use whatever reason you want (got it in the army, the Chopec gave it to him, got drunk one night, or make up your own) and whatever design you want (a panther, a wolf, a panther and wolf, Blair's name, or make up your own), just so long as Jim and Blair are together by the end of the story. There's a new serial killer in town, that before he kills the victims, gives them an extremely powerful aphrodisiac (one that doesn't just wear off, you actually have to have sex before it wears off) and has sex with them. Blair is his next victim. Fortunately, Jim catches the killer before he rapes Blair, but he's left with an extremely horny partner, who, if he doesn't have sex, will die. You can guess what happens next. <G> By the end of the story Blair and Jim must be together. No rape or death of Jim and Blair.

Fandom - Sentinel. Pairing - Jim and Blair. I've been reading all these stories with the plot 'a criminal says they'll kill someone if Jim and Blair don't have sex with each other'. They're always first times stories. Why not one that's an established relationship story? Fandom - Sentinel. Pairing - Jim and Blair. This is a 'Previous challenges'challenge. Basically, I've rounded up all the challenges that people have used before, and am putting them out there again. (If one of these is yours, speak up, and take the credit). Okay the first one: Write a story that starts with the line 'It all started with a misplaced tube of lube'. (Courtesy of Winds-of-Dawn). The 'Kitchen table challenge' - the guys have sex on the kitchen table. (I think Bone did this one...I think) Jim and Blair in different jobs - the AU challenge. The 'Swoon in June' challenge - have the guys gets married. The 'Get the guys into bed together' challenge - basically, come up with a really weird or unusual reason for Jim and Blair to have to share a bed, then have them declare their mutual love and have sex. The view from the bullpen challenge - what do the other MC characters think (about Jim and Blair, or anything else - Bonus points (mine) for using Simon, Carolyn or Naomi) (Yeah, I know Naomi's not a Detective, so what?). Jim and Blair go to the movies - an AU challenge, wherein you put Jim and Blair in the places of two characters from your favorite movie. (I actually have half a dozen of these, more detailed. Fandom - Sentinel. Pairing - Jim and Blair. I call this the 'Cliché challenge'. There've been a lot of clichés, or fanon devices used, that make for an interesting story (IMHO). My challenge is to use one or more in a story. Here are all the ones I've found: Blair as a virgin. Jim and Blair with a pet. (I'm partial to cats - or ferrets) Blair with a tattoo. Jim and/or Blair undercover as transvestite/cross-dresser. Jim having a kink about cumming in Blair's hair. Blair talking a lot during sex. Use of Jim's surfing abilities. Blair with a nipple ring (or navel ring, or both). Jim and/or Blair undercover as a hooker. Jim having problems with sex 'cause of his Sentinel abilities. Blair with dyslexia. Primal Jim - Jim's Sentinel instincts taking over being the reason they have sex the first time. Jim and Blair with kids (Yes, I like kid-fic, so sue me). Blair being able to sing really well. Jim and Blair kissing undercover, and maybe taking things farther. Jim and Blair in the jungle. Bottom Jim. Blair or Jim as an exotic dancer. (Undercover or AU) Use of Blair's Shaman abilities. Cliche - Blair flying Apaches in Desert storm. Previous Challenge - the unusual anniversary challenge - the guys celebrate the anniversary of an unusual event.Please no rape or death stories.

Fandom - Sentinel. Category - Humor/Drama (with a little bit of angst), also, First Times. Pairing - Jim and Blair. Timeframe - any season you want. The challenge is to have everyone in Major Crimes (bonus points for using Megan) play 'Truth or Dare' at the station, and they all agree to answer every question. Use any questions you want, but someone (I think Henri would ask this one) has to ask people to tell when and to who they lost their virginity. When they get to Blair, Jim hears his heart speed up and he tells a story that everyone but Jim believes, and then leaves to get everyone something to drink. Jim follows him, and tells him he knows he lied, and tries to get him to tell the truth. He blusters for several minutes, and when he finally gets tired of it, he tells him he never lost his virginity. (Bonus points for having one, or all of the Detectives in Major Crimes eavesdropping on him). When Jim asks why, have Blair say something along the lines of, 'I started college at sixteen, and all the girls were older than me, and most girls want older guys. I was always younger than the kids in my class.' (Bonus points for having Jim ask about all the women he's dated since Jim knew him, and having Blair say something about his parentage, and Naomi, and not wanting to never know if had any children out there, as his reason) Have Jim and Blair get together, anyway you want, as long as there is no rape, or death in it.
