OK, I have been formulating this fic since.....oh lets say December to give it leaveway.
Anyway, I had this idea, but last night came to the realization that it's virtually
impossible to do.
In my head, and as a personal rule, I write x-overs where the actors played a character on
both and IS both of the characters, therefore Carl IS Simon and Methos IS Scott Bruenell
(Foreign Exchange....and we won't even TALK about how they killed my Viper plot bunny with
mention of Lane Cassidy in this ep) Anyway, I had it all planned out....Simon is Carl,
Methos got arrested, the calvary of Duncan and Joe (no matter what, Joe's gonna be in
there) show up. My problems are the following:
1) Daryl....I finally resolved an explanation, invitro procedure that we use with our para
guys (more on that later)
2) Simon gets shot....A LOT. He doesn't heal very quickly, blows the Immortal theory into
bits. Add to that, Finkelman's Folly.
3) The big one that killed any ideas I had--Reunion. We have pics of Simon as a teen. :(
